Tech & Nonsense features:

Tech posts will be thoughts on cybersecurity and ways to advance your knowledge if you are looking to get a job in cybersecurity or advance in your cyber career. And also thoughts on AI; mobile tech and apps; and personal knowledge management (PKM).

On the Nonsense side - or said better, the non-tech side - I’ll post on topics from dogs to music, from personal thoughts on mind and body health to hopes that we can find ways to keep this planet livable.

A Little About Me

I’ve spent many years in Cybersecurity and IT. My skill set and experience includes IT and OT security, cyber risk assessment and management, NIST CSF and security controls assessment , vulnerability management, and security awareness. I have a side gig role which allows me to do a little giving back to the cyber community. I enjoy my role as a subject matter expert on an MITxPro course for adult learners looking to make the switch to a career in cybersecurity. I also founded and ran a few marginally successful websites that were single focused on mobile tech and mobile apps. I’m an Austinite, a former Londoner, a father, very much a dog person, and a guy who’s just trying to be a better human being every day.
