AI Alongside Episode 5 - AI in Education

With a Brilliant Educator

Y'all! (I’ve been in Texas close to 24 years now, so I’m allowed to use this word)

This is my favorite AI Alongside Chat, the one I've been looking forward to the most of all. A chat with Alicia Bankhofer, who is an Apple Distinguished Educator, the author of the Create. Innovate. Educate. substack, and I'm lucky enough to be able to say, also an old friend.

More good news: I talk less in this one. Did my best to just prompt Alicia with a few questions and enjoy all her wisdom and guidance on not just working with students to help them get the most out of AI, but also with her fellow teachers and educators.

I need to apologize for a video freeze-up for roughly the last 60% of this, so Alicia is static all of a sudden at about the 15 minute mark. We both felt we could live with that because the chat was fun and Alicia’s words still come across crystal clear.

I hope you’ll enjoy this even one percent as much as I did, because that would still be a heck of a lot :)
